I wouldn't know about the cabinet I played through as I never opened it up. Just had an input jack towards the bottom. Seems there would have to be some sort of crossover between the horn and speakers though.

IMO, those old T&R kustom cabs sound awesome with two k140's in 'em.

I'm looking at one of these 200 heads, and currently have a pair of TL-606 cabs loaded with Eminence 3015 drivers. John K, you did an A/B a while back with the 3015 and a JBL K-140, I remember the results of that very cool test. To this day I roll my bass Tone knob back about a 1/4 turn...

I was a little scared when I heard the 200 is 100 watts, but I'm after tone, not a demolition device (I already have a couple Trace AH250 heads that can do that). So I'm just looking in here, and my question is can I look for a similar sonic result in these Eminence Kappalite 3015s as you might see with the JBLs?
