Kustom DE810H speaker cabinet

I actually consider the 610, but I'm having doubts about the tone.
I tried another cheap cab (Hartke Transporter) and that wasn't for me.
Can anyone tell a bit about Kustom cabs, soundwise?
Mainly playing rock (and sometimes semi-acoustic sessions)

Kustom doesn't make a 610 that I am aware of - just the 810 and a 410.

When I posted this the 610 was not listed at the distributor. They still are not listed on the Kustom website but the distributor has the 610 now listed. 4 of them in USA factory stock.

Here's my long-overdue update on the DE810. I too bought one during that Musician's Friend clear-out and have been using it on stage (and in rehearsal) for 4.5 years now in a post-punk band and more recently in a hardcore metal band (in drop-B tuning). It sounds fantastic and I've had zero problems (aside from the grab-handle working a little loose - an easy fix). We play at extreme volume and unusually low frequencies, yet all eight speakers are still 100%. Crucially, it's a little smaller and quite a bit lighter than the equivalent Ampeg, which has made all the difference while loading.

Kustom stuff is better than it's reputation. Certainly not boutique, but decent. But the last thing I need a an 8x10.

I already had one of the first generation Acoustic B810's (made by Kustom for GC/MF I'm told) but bought this one specifically because it was a better fit in my car at the time and stoopid cheap. Unfortunately I have yet to even plug it in, maybe for the power trio we're trying to get off the ground now. I've been trying to sell the Acoustic cab for $250/OBO but no joy - not even a nibble .

What head are you using? I suspect the first generation Kustom/Acoustic drivers couldn't handle running without a HPF in the head (or an external HPF pedal).

A Trace Elliot 300-watt GP7, and previously a Laney DP150 (essentially a Trace copy!)
