Kustom Groove 1200 question

I bought a Kustom Groove 1200 amp last March via Reverb for $200. 2 bass buds of mine use that amp. I had played through it several times. So when I saw one in excellent condition for $200, I jumped on it.

I only started gigging with it in August. A couple of weeks ago, it started buzzing. Not bad. Figured it was bad grounding at the venue. Now it's horrible at home. In the garage, living room, etc. Unlistenable. Bought a decent power strip as recommended. Doesn't change anything.

Keep in mind, this buzz happens WITHOUT an instrument cable plugged in. I figure it's a grounding issue. Possible loose solder joint, bad input jack, etc. Just curios to know if any other Kustom Groove 1200 users have experienced the same thing. If so, maybe you could point me in the right direction. I'm not afraid to solder. I've done all the mods on my Blues Jr Amp, build my own stomp boxes, install pickups, etc. I'm Worried cus I have 2 gigs coming up this weekend. My 250 watt Carvin combo isn't going to work, as I play upright bass in a loud band. Need lots of headroom for Upright Bass.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
