I don't get why you link this video to lady gaga.

If you want to link every queer looking guy with a strange outfit to her, you can take just about any vid from 80-s rock bands ;-)

(I'm probably missing something here, just can't see what)

Seriously, look at this picture of her and then look at the Tube's singer (Fee Waybill).

She's a pop star. Since when was originality a requirement?

Pop success is all about image. She's only doing what she does because there's a huge appetite for it. That's the part that bothers me.

I don't like her music much (but then, I'm not crazy about most current pop), but when I see her interviewed I like her as a person. Either she's sincere in what she does, or she's fooled me real good.

Gaga is just a copy of great bands like Missing Persons, except her music is banal and bland. She's talented, but she writes throw away songs that sound like regurgitated Abba disco. And I like Abba. ;)

The Tubes was a great band, and Fee didn't dress like that all the time. That was a character he played; Quay Lewd.
