Swap 'em for lighter ones - there's your pound.

You can get Lakland to sell you some LH3 knobs or pick them up somewhere else...

That's cool - someone will buy it I'm sure. The grain is crazy! I'm bummed that I don't like the sound better. I just can't personally justify spending $500+ on upgrades when I could just find a bass that better suits the sound I'm looking for. Although, if I had $500+ right now...

Lakland does one of the best looking burst finishes if you ask me. Personally, I prefer rosewood with that finish, but to each his own. I have a '79 Sabre with a maple neck that will be buried with me.
