Dont really care for the upper horn.... but it looks like the picture may have been cropped incorrectly when you look closely....

This was quietly added to the website within the last 48 hours...

Who's got the inside line?? (.... I've already left 2 voicemails at Lakland...)

Great, another Fender copy. I love my 5501 and I wish they would put a little more energy into original designs. I'm sure it's a great bass if that's your thing.

yes this is the "new" DJ....as of now, US models only.

the horn is as you see it.....I am not a huge fan either BUT I can tell you it does look nicer in person.

Ever more refined copies, ever more facets, ever more curlicues, ever more plies in the neck are not the same as innovation.

Considering the amount of "boutique" basses that are copies of the jazz, it makes me marvel at how "right" Leo got it on his sophomore or maybe Junior year try.
