Lakland 55-01 mods

I have a lakland 55-01 i bought this summer with the intention of modifying. i'm a passive guy, so the first thing i did was remove the preamp, and run the bass passive. i am very happy with that mod. now i'm considering changing out the pickups. the two front runners for replacements are nordy big singles, and chi-sonics. if anyone has experience with both of these pickups, i'd love to hear so opinions.

I'd say Nordstrand BigSingles to keep it active/passive (is what your push/pull volume knob's made for)
If you pursue your passive only approach, then chi-sonics

Not many people know it, but you can get ChiSonics in a soapbar cover specifically to fit in the 01,s

Bumping the zombie thread- did you go with a new pickup? results? I've got my eye on dropping some hot passive pups in a lakland before too long
