that's what our singer says! Quite often I am... by set 2. I need some liquid courage but then I'm up front dancing and getting the crowd pumped. That night I was going to be careful. That was the DJs first gig.
Thinking of which, she needs a name. I've named all of my favorite axes.

I don't like steel roundwounds, but I do have some Booty Collins DR coated steels on my 4-07 and love them! They have this cool crunchy sound.

Hmmm, interesting! I might need to try those on my Decade.

True. Although for me, I'd be bothered not having the original neck, especially because the serial is stamped into the headstock. Yeah, I'm O.C.D.

but if one has a new neck installed on the old body, the same SN will be stamped on the neck. Thus, two necks that carry the same identity

I'm kinda OCD like that as well, and it's sorta killing me that I have a bass (the BG5 Proto) with NO serial number..... (Maybe when I'm up there in September, they can stamp some really cool custom serial number on it for me, lol).

I have a better idea. wait until there are serials and keep this one. don't do anything jesse-like* to this one. there's quite a few guys (including myself) who'd be way happy to get this one no matter, number or no number

yeah, i'll have to measure it out to see if the MM will fit or not. it'll be super close, i think (because of the control plate).

Just checked a pic, looks like you could squeeze a MM in there without hitting the plate. May not be as close to the neck as a 55's pup though

that's good...the more treble w/o eq, the better.
