Question for my brothers(and sisters).
I am getting a Glaub from Terry. I REALLY want something different, but can't afford a US.
I am thinking about having the BG refinished in the new Markus Orange. I love that color!!!!!!!
My dilema....Its $500 to have it done.
Am I crazy? I know if I sell it I will NEVER get that $500 back.
What should I do?

If you not going to buy a US Lakland, and you love the bass, and love the color...go for it! I would!
Damn straight! Or busy getting them refinished.

I say if you play it and decide you love it, go for it (although email Marty, I bet you can save a couple hundred, and I can attest it's top-notch stuff!!!). I'm actually getting ready to send him my Skyline JO5...
PS- How do you like the Avatar cab? I've been considering going lighter, and they seem appealing.
It's going back to the previous owner. He's a good guy who loves the bass and I know he'll take care of her. We have a deal that if he decides to sell it, I get first dibs.
The thing is, it really won't get played much. My fretless DJ (I'm leaning towards Stacy) is so damn good and fits my sound perfectly. Then, when I get my fretted DJ and CallowHill P-bass, I would almost never play Tracy. She deserves to be played.
