Fun stuff. 23000 posts, and Dougie and Markus are probably 1/4 of them![]()

That, or they could make a bigger inlay on the body.

I wouldn't doubt it! They were over 30% of the last one.

OK, there is SERIOUSLY something wrong with me. I have a million things to do, but curiosity got the best of me. Here are some stats from parts 20-22....

No, no, no.... don't zip it. Sing the praises of our beloved Lakies from the mountaintops!!!!!! (or from our dimly lit keyboards, whatever)
Hey Guys,
Just picked up a 44-02 and really lovin it. I am running into a choked out note on the E string (A) Kind of bums me out as it kills everywhere else..Anyways I'm hoping a Plek or new nut might fix the issue. Just curious if anyone knows the turn around on getting the Plek job done?

I've heard a slightly different analysis from another builder: graphite stiffens a neck eliminating most neck flex while striking strings (evidently there's a slight flex when you pull on a string) allowing closer buzz free action then pure wood necks. And neck/headstock mass determine if there will be deadspots: 5ers have more wood and tuners so no deadspots usually...
just what Ive heard![]()

What's up guys? We're usually on page 10 by now. Oh well, easier to keep up this way.
