I thought so....I managed to move some unused gear to get it so I am out no cash....and I figured if I do not like it for some reason, I could use it as bait to move back into a Lakie fretless. The unlined neck will be a challenge for me.
I hear ya...I'd be lost without lines! I had an unlined 6 string 13 years ago...and it looked cool...but that's as far as I got with it

what did you get?
I got to tool around on a Tony Franklin Fretless a few weeks ago, and it was incredible. If this doesn;t work, maybe I will get another Glaub and convert it. Add a J at the bridge and a fretless neck and be done. If I wait long enough, Terry may have another fretless neck for sale.
