I got to tool around on a Tony Franklin Fretless a few weeks ago, and it was incredible. If this doesn;t work, maybe I will get another Glaub and convert it. Add a J at the bridge and a fretless neck and be done. If I wait long enough, Terry may have another fretless neck for sale.

OK punk, I was begging someone to buy that thing, for weeks. I all but gave it away.... and NOW you want one..... Murphy's Law...

LOL, that's how it works...seeing that both of us have this disease, I am sure it will not be long before we are going to act as enablers....we will have to see how the MM plays and feels....and the whole unlined thing...I may be in trouble....

Hmmm, where can I get a black pickguard??:bassist:

what did you get?

I got a Markbass SD800 to go with the CL108 I got last week. Saved about 20 pounds in my rack, and the 8x10 weighs a pound less than my old 4x10, plus has wheels.... Used the cab at a gig last week and it was NICE, gonna run the head through its paces tonight.

I'm liking my little mark iii. It's not the best head ever, but it is light, compact and sounds pretty good. If I could find a smaller amp that sounds very close to an old Ampeg SVT, that would be awesome.

I dunno, maybe I won't be welcome anymore...I may be making a move on a non-lakland fretless :hiding: as I am still trying to work out the finances for the Hollowbody Fretless...I may have a chance to trade some stuff to get one in the meantime and see if I really need a fretless and how I can handle a non-lined fretless....LOL

are you trading off one of the 3TSB trio???? I hope not! also - you got a better deal (cashwise?) than a HB fretless?

you MAY be able to still hang around depending on how you answer these questions (LOL!)......

NO requirement that you have ALL Lakies....just one.....or MORE!

good luck (really!)
