LAKLAND OWNERS GROUP #25

Greg and I spent several hours with Jeff Carlson (JMGLISS) at his house playing many GREAT Laklands (and a few nice non-Lakies) as well...

pictures and more details to come on the LOG web site (Link Removed) later today!

after that, Greg and I met up with davec at the Night Of Bass - a Jauqo III X set up and sponsored event for some well established bass players and for some "up and coming bass players".

what a night of music! a great variety of music and basses!

lasted from about 9 PM to after 1 AM....Bill Dickens was fantastic!

Bill Clements played his sweet 44-94D with burst and blocked/bound neck.

Jauqo played his sweet "tiger striped" brown 44-02 with the 3 CHI single coils....

the other bass players were great as well......made me realize how much I suck!

if there is any way you can make it next year...it is well worth the trip!

All:

This is a GREAT place to congregate and, as we have stated on many occasions, the LOG is a strong supporter of TB....

However, please keep in mind that the LOG has a Lakland specific web site (Link Removed) where we can congregate and get our Lakie fix....

please make sure you visit there and post there.

our membership has been growing exponentially since we instituted the "free" membership, but the number of posts have decreased.

we MAY initiate some form of give away for those who drive traffic to the site.....

ideas are appreciated!

Wow 24 didn't take long.... Here's a bit of randomness. I never realized the difference in some of the hardware between the US and Skyline models. I knew about the bridge saddles, but never noticed the difference on the tuning hardware....
