Already the 25th !!! Wow !!!

So it's time to share this with you. A little solo I took during the last gig of my band.

It's my first solo attempt. It's not perfect, at all. But it's just to have some advices on my tone.

It's been recorded live with a zoom h2, so the sound is a bit crappy...

The song which I chorus on is "Sympathy for the devil" by The Stones...

The bass is my Lakland DJ5 ran through a Hartke LH-500 and a 4x10 Genz-Benz...
So please let me know what you think...

And don't forget to be kind..lol

Wow 24 didn't take long.... Here's a bit of randomness. I never realized the difference in some of the hardware between the US and Skyline models. I knew about the bridge saddles, but never noticed the difference on the tuning hardware....

The other thing I've noticed between my US/Skyline Laklands is the thickness of the headstock. My 55-94 measures slightly under 3/4" and all of my Skylines are 9/16". Not sure if this is because I have an older (think it's 2003) US model and the Skylines are newer? Would be curious to see if others see as much of a difference there.

On another note, I'm on the hunt for some Skyline's if anyone is looking for a trade for an excellent condition Black/rosewood DJ5 or a practically new Lull PJ5 (+cash). Looking for a JO5 or a 55-02 w/the Lakland electronics.

He he he! I'm so far from a hippie! Ask Doug!

Hippies love Chucks!

hey now.....what hair I have left is rather short these days....

was NEVER a hippy.....never could get into the whole tye-dye thing....my daughters LOVE it though....

PS - "Chuck, Chuck, Bo Buck.....Banana Fana Fo Fanna...Fe Fi Fo ....."ooops! gotta stop! family show :D

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

So I get home and there's this big ol' box at the door. Whooo the DJ I ordered is here.....nooooooo, as soon as I picked up the box I could tell there was no bass in it, it was too light (it was just the case I ordered at the same time)

I called MF and she said the bass was on backorder..I was like "***, when I ordered it last week they said it was in stock"

Come to find out the person that took the order placed it as a Black sparkle with maple fingerboard (I ordered RW). Well they had the black with RW but I told her naw, I want the Lake Placid Blue Sparkle instead :D

Now have to wait another few days to get the bass :bawl:
