GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

So I get home and there's this big ol' box at the door. Whooo the DJ I ordered is here.....nooooooo, as soon as I picked up the box I could tell there was no bass in it, it was too light (it was just the case I ordered at the same time)

I called MF and she said the bass was on backorder..I was like "***, when I ordered it last week they said it was in stock"

Come to find out the person that took the order placed it as a Black sparkle with maple fingerboard (I ordered RW). Well they had the black with RW but I told her naw, I want the Lake Placid Blue Sparkle instead :D

Now have to wait another few days to get the bass :bawl:

soon...soon.....teh wait is aweful but you can do it!

Well here we are again. dont you guys ever go out LOL.

just in the past hour ive had a revelation with my DJ5. Its go ta great tone ;-)

As you know im not happy with the Jazz tone and have done something about it but believe it or not ive never solo'ed (is that spelt right?) the bridge pup before, not even on my HW1 jazz. I always liked the fullness the neck pup gives (and a bit too much on the DJ5 IMHO) and i nearly always us a pick. But since i got my DJ5 i find it seems to encourage me to play finger style. and its a lot easier than on my Fender P5.
Anyway, this tone is the one ive heard on countless recordings and have never been able to figure how to get it on my other basses. And i guess this is why.
Very happy to find this tone, even if i wont use it a lot.

Obviously you have not been around hippies. That is not the way it is here...livin' it every day.

Punks don't wear Chucks here. That has changed, it just takes a while for the rest of the country to catch up.

Who's the fool now!
Riiiiight. California, simply ahead of its time.:rollno:

Have you listened to the 44-01 clips on the Lakland site (under the Multimedia tab)?

For TB'ers 44-01s, clicky here...Lakland 01 Club

Sorry for the doublepost, but something is bothering me: Why is it so hard to find an active Skyline Decade anywhere on the Internet? I'd really like to sell/trade this to be able to get one of those, but I can't seem to find one. Any suggestions?
