Hows Lakland's Strings?

I like them.....I especially like the stainless steel and nickles....

me too... What I also like about them is, a Lakland 5 string set is worth $25 (although I do have to think about shipment). a GHS set is worth about $40 in this country - and it's them who make Lakland strings.
Hmmm, never thought about that - I could get Lakland strings in bulks, chip off an extra inch and sell 'em as GHS. And keep the change AND the extra inches (someone recently said they did count! ;-) )

I think because it's so different from anything else they make. And having handled a number of them (mainly Skylines), they really are beautiful instruments with fantastic build quality.
