LOL! I say that about 4 strings. I guess because I play 99% in church / worship music gigs, a 5'er is indispensible for on the fly transposing and key changes. Nothing beats the low B on my Dingwall (oops did I just say that in a Lakland thread!!)
I'll say this, my first Lakland was a 55-02 and the 35" low B is what attracted me to Lakland. I was subbing at a church once that had subs under the stage. There was a song that had a break in the middle where the bass lands on a low C and holds it for a full measure. Half the singers turned around and stared in bewilderment at me. I pointed to the keys player!
