When I got my 5501 I sent a few questions to Kirk @ Lakland regarding the preamp - mentioned I did not have the wrenches as the Bass was used. He took my address and sent me a set of wrenches < how cool is that?

Wrenches arrived yesterday as promised.

yeh - thats the way they roll.....cool is the name of the game at Lakland..

You think there may be a correlation between the stack and the neighbors not talking to me:help:?

I only have a "partial" basement, where I keep my amps, so it's purely a space-saving strategy. I come from the Ikea way of thinking;) Although the Mesa can run both cabs:D

Noyce!!!!! "SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY...MONSTER RIGS AT RAYZAK'S PLACE!!!).......new reality TV???

Some pearl blocks on the fretboard to match the PG would be ultra-pimptastic.

That is the most insane looking flake paint job I've ever seen.

Nah....that would be TOOOO much! :rollno::eyebrow::rolleyes:

Just kidding...it is sooooo "over the top" now.....but so niiiiice!

Blocks (MOP) WOULD look killer

This pimp machine can't help but be over the top, it NEEDS some crushed mother of pearl blocks to match that killer paint job.

Something like this...

That's serious business right there!! You're gonna be switching basses like every song.

Nice, nice!

I'll have three basses (all us dj):
fretless for jazz/r&b/soul
active ash/maple for the very funky stuff
passive ash/maple for rock and whatnot. I hope to keep it to one main bass a gig.. the sonic blue will probably be least used overall since I'm mainly a passive guy, but I seriously can't wait for it... who knows? I may pluck one string and decide never to touch another instrument.
