I actually play them all pretty equally. I'm a sucker for passive basses, but the 4-07 sounds very organic for an active bass. Just put some D'Addario nickel rounds on it and it sounds great! Very very versatile, and the lightest bass I own.

Thanks! There very different in tone, so they all bring something fun to the table. I really don't have a favorite. Put some Chromes on the HB, and bootsys on the Decade, and they really shine now. Damn Lakland makes great great stuff!

this thing wasnt even played, really. i guess she got it in spring and it has been at her place in the berkshires.the neck feels suprisingly similar to that of my dualj. im loving these pickups they sound so different in single coil mode than they do in humbucking. i really like both settings alot.
No good natural light for days, only liquid sunshine, but they keep me company so I don't mind so much.

It was played maybe a handful of times. She has other Laklands and rarely got around to playing that one + she has the first dual Chi-sonic humbucker Lakland and she loves it.
No good natural light for days, only liquid sunshine, but they keep me company so I don't mind so much.
