Hey guys! I have been a bit preoccupied with some family stuff lately. Needless to say, because of that stuff, I missed my opportunity on the HB.Anyway, to make it up to me...my wife bought this for me! She saw that I had been looking at it earlier and felt bad that missed the HB. So anyway, this should be here Tuesday.

what a GREAT wife you have....except she does not know your favorire color (or set of colors that is!!!) At least the pick guard is the right color....
I cannot say that I am sorry you "lost" the HB.......this non-AC will be fantastic!!!
welcome to a natural world......
wahoo!!!! sweeter than sweet!
Well, I checked Traci's headstock, she's got half a dozen little bumps n bruises. Hmm, looks like she's been well used in her previous relationships..... the tramp! No telling what mark I put on her last night, but at least the tuners aren't bent.
My rt elbow's hurting for some reasonI think I remember hitting the brick wall w/ it at some point
. Endorphines and Red Stripe lager = bodily harm I 'spose.
must do again soon hehe
I love the fact that when she knew she wanted to get me something...LAKLAND was the first and only thing that popped into her head.
good "training"....he he he!!!
my wife is too scared to buy me a bass.....she would let me pick it out for fear of not getting it "right"...but ANY Lakland would be "right" and that non-AC DJ is tops!!!
I guess he had a relapse and went on a binge Tuesday night. Anyway, he folded the band and entered a rehab program. He doesn't want to plan on playing anytime soon....wants to focus on his recovery and fiance', which I think is the right choice.
The drummer, lead player, and I are going to keep in touch and may try to find a singer and put something new together...rigiht now we are gonna go slow...we all live far apart as I was driving 100 miles each way to practice. Anyway....no band...lol

OK - so I am in SERIOUS trouble!
I went to a worship GTG today in FAR Southern Illinois and fell in love with a non-Lakie.....
This was a fretless Rick Turner which sounded fantastic and looked GREAT! it is an exact duplicate of this one at Bass Central:

The sound was incredible! It sounded like a fretless or an upright depending on how you played it....
need to keep an eye open for a used 5 string version....if you see one please let me know....
oh dear - oh dear!!!!
at least I am interested in something Lakland does not make...
more details on the GTG etc later tonight or tomorrow.....
does that drink have a name? some special moniker that i should use when ordering from a bar?
Here is my first Lakland . . .

I also have a Skyline 44-02 on the way. US model will be in my future!
well, the Decade has the big ole 'bucker chi's.....
honestly, i'd mix cream soda and crown.
i'd never drink crown straight, but it mixes pretty well.
should i still look into joining the club?
p.s. Maker's or Bulleit, anyone?
Tramp.
not making anymore DJs though.

oH YEH????? more to come (I HOPE!)![]()
Hmmm...what about a
ACDJCS?
I am thinking about parting out a decade....Neck on my glaub, and routing the ACDJ for the CS's. What do you think?
there is at least one ACDJ with single CHIs out there......I like your idea.....IF you can afford the Decade and all of the mods...then WHAT will you do with the body and hardware? hmmm?????????
a Decade is a terrible thing to waste.....
