Oh well, we'll have to agree to disagree. Just not a big fan of brown![]()
No problemo. The sparkle would carry it through...bot like yours, but bigger that the standard flakes. I have a few other colors That I would like to see too.

Oh well, we'll have to agree to disagree. Just not a big fan of brown![]()
Heck yeah! I know some places for adult entertainment too! Maybe we can find a lady w/ LPB eye shadow and tort pasteys!
![]()
I dunno about the LPB....but I bet Markus Orange would go over well on game day! I was warned against wearing any 'Bama stuff when I go up (not that I have any anyway)
Now... if could only snag my 'puter away from my daughter and my lady, I'll figger out how to use Ferg's mod'ed avatar candidate.
Thanks Fergus!!
I wish you guys coulda heard Kobol earlier! With the chromes, treble rolled back to about 20%, bass boosted to 70%, Shuttle 6.0 set flat, Acme low B2 cab.... Sounded so fat, smooth & powerful. If I plucked near the neck, I got this FAT thump like a hollowbody on Redbulls, over the pup was DEEELISH for the stuff we were creating: classic rock inspired 12 string Takamine guitar played in a way reminiscent of early Heart stuff + spastic drums and me letting Kobol shine. It was sooo much fun!
Oh, this is the fusion trio, not Third Obsession.
Hey guys....DJ5 arrived today....and I am stuck out of townMy wife said the box looks pretty...whatever that means. Hopefully I will be home tomorrow to check it out.
I'm playing through a Nemesis NC212 combo. It's light and loud, but the sound is never quite bright or clear enough. I think I want a Hartke Hydrive setup, although I haven't tried one yet. I miss my GK that fried a few years ago. As far as basses go, a US Lakland is nowhere near my budget.![]()
Just doin my part to try to keep it interesting!!
The 55-94 is great, but my small hands are just not making the 5er work. Played her tonight on an early gig... ugly... lots of missed notes. I have 2 sets of flats coming and will try one of them first... but a US Glaub may be in my future... gotta hedge my bets, right?!?!?
I would love her and stroke her and call her George.

Ha, I have zero UT apparel and am NOT a fan! Wear whatcha want, nobody will mess with you.

First run with the Dunn turned out really nice! It does sit perfectly in the mix. I even tried rolling the tone completely off like Pino does, and it still sounded great. Full with lots of fundamental. Very promising, especially considered this gig last night was with a little latin jazz group where you wouldn't normally see a P bass.
Just finished listing 3 items including my killer 6 string, gonna miss her. Already may have a buyer too.
Cool, I just figured out how to resize images using photobucket... monumental day for me! I may have a different avatar everyday now, hehehe.

Knowing you, you'll get a custom US Glaub w/ jazz taper neck.
HEY, Inca w/ matching headstock, pearl blocked ebony board w/ black PG would be striking!!
edit: don't forget the "Bull" deflector
NEVER TRUST FEDEX'S "ESTIMATED" DELIVERY DATE!!!!

The Bull deflector is from a late 60's Kay P bass copy, so it's scratched and not up to par. New one will be ordered ASAP!!!
I'm such a GEEK, I haven't even plugged it in and it's already had a photoshoot, hehehe.
Color is UNREAL in person!!! Like a bunch or sparkling garnets! I can't capture it w/ my meager skills.

Here's a new photo of my Dakota Red BG with the new blood red tort from Jeannies. Classic 60s look.

For over a year I've wanted brown metallic...that would look cool on a P bass...humm.....ebony board and patching headstock... or dare I say natural headstock and maple, black blocked neck....so may options!
