What setting do you guys have your mid switch at on your 02s and 01s??
Mine is at the lowest, which IIRC, is 220(?) Htz,
I normally have the blend at touch toward the neck, boost mids a touch, bass and treble flat, front coil selected on the MM
However last Sunday night, I had the blend about 30/70 (J/MM) with both coils on, and played over the bridge Pup (don't know how, I normally suck at it
) and really enjoyed it.
I know this has been covered before, but I wasn't paying attention then

Maybe I'm just lame but I really like my -02 with all 3 coils active, blend centered and EQ flat. Sometimes I'll spice it up and solo a bridge coil!

Me too, but I believe my Bart setup's mid switch is set to a less popular selection, I'll have to check sometime.

I forget where I have mine set..been a while since I opened the cavity up....
I play my 55-02 with the bass pretty much dead center and the mids rolled off a bit and the treble up a tad.....typically all 3 coils on with the pickup selector pretty much center...although I am experimenting with rolling it back and forth depending on the sound I want....
My 55-94 fretless on the other hand: bass rolled off about 25-30%...mids up about 20-25%, and the treble all the way up (MAX MWAH!)...and the pickups? well, that all depends on the song etc....typically all coils on - rolled towards the bridge about 30%-40%......somtimes single coils for that nice fretless J sound...

Playing the fretless and noticed is was nice out n the deck. The lighting brought out he metallic.
