GREAT pics Randy!!!

sounds like it was a fun show...

OK, some pics from the Neon Trees/Mutemath/30 Seconds To Mars show last night in St. Louis. Our fellow Laklander Branden rocked the house with his Geddy Glaub, as well as a killer Guild.... Met up afterward and talked shop for a while. Great dude, everyone needs to get the CD and check them out live.

yeh???? like what? curious you know...you cannot throw something like that out and then shut up!!! you need to spill it....

what to guitarheads know about laklands? well, they MAY know something soon.....

It's interesting to see the recent chatter going along - and realize a guitar forum gave more helpful insight than you guys did on a piece of Lakland content.

Jes: try the Lakland steels.....love the rotoscounds myself but the Lakland steels go through the body.....

or maybe try the medium gauge nickles...

Crap. I missed your question completely. I've been using Rotosound 66s on my 55-02. I'm using long scale because I've never seen the extra-long scale I'd need to go through the body. I actually prefer stringing through the body, but with the 66s I can only go through the bridge. I've been sort of passively looking for a string that has a lot of zong and that will go through the body on a 35" bass -- without costing me an arm and a leg, that is.

Sorry, what *was* your question?

Yeah, that one is an idol. I wonder what drives him to move this one. It's probably another one he has up his sleeve. "Markus" equals to "secretive"! :D

On a different note, has anyone beside me noticed that the seller's "full disclosure" rule doesn't apply to Markus? I mean, he says:
It's the only fretless ChiSonic Jazz bass I know of.
Yeah right, like he doesn't know Nessie! And that she officially is a fretless 55 Dual J ChiSonic.
Bet he now starts saying that a 55 dual J CS is not a jazz bass CS? :hiding::D

just kidding. as always

The secret that's up my sleeve is that I just don't play fretless that much!

55 ain't no J!:hiding::D

NICE!

Did Branden let you play either? since you are a P-convert now...

was just playing my BG5 tonight... each time I play it....I get goose bumps.....

Didn't get to play either of them (they were already packed up), but we got to talk for the better part of an hour. It made me laugh that he knew Radioactive Oatmeal by name, lol.

And yeah, I know, the BG5 never fails to provide bliss!!! Can't wait until everyone else gets to experience them!!!

LOG means fame! :D

I wish he could try your BG5 and get GAS attack
