It is a REAL Hollow body......doubt Mr. Tobias could remedy the situation but maybe.....I am sure if it could be done well, SOMEONE would have done it by now....I have never seen one...

Is the Lakland a true hollow body, or is a chambered solid body? I've never actually seen one in person.

Ha! I feel the same way sometimes about mine, Tom. It really is a great bass, though--it could end up being perfect when I find a (new) band, too, so I'm loathe to let it go.
You need to try a Chi'd up J, Tom.The thicker tone might work for your P-bass tastes.
