LAKLAND OWNERS GROUP #48

Lakland rounds can be had as Stainless Steel or Nickel.
Ahh okay. A more specific question then.

I've just acquired a 55-02 strung with factory rounds. The guy who ordered it didn't specify strings as either steel or nickel and has no idea what they are.

Any ideas what they might be by default ?

(They sound (too) bright to me, but that could be the difference between my fretted 2005 55-94 deluxe and fretless 2008 55-02 standard. I'm guessing they're steels and I could benefit from a switch to nickels)

I'd be playin' my new BG5, but my gut's too big right now.
Must. Focus. On. Digestion.

Tell you what: My thanksgiving was last month, so I've lost some of that turkey weight and can wear a bass again. I'll be over in about twelve seconds to play around with your Lakkie, your Sadowsky and... well, pretty much every wicked bass you own.

You'll know when I'm there. I'll be the one ringing te doorbell like a kid with a penchant for tantrums.
