As long as the bass player sticks around, we're good! The JO is great to play though and there's something about the Rosewood they use on the USA version which just feels luxurious.

We should have a list somewhere. I received a partial list but not a full list. PM Doug, and make sure to add your address and such.
It is becoming more of a "thing" with our praise band to have 3 guitarists....the other day we actually had 4!
the nice thing is NONE of them needs to "hog the spotlight" and they spend hours on a song working it over and over to add depth and dimension to the song....it always ends up sounding GREAT! it is usually a mix of acoustic and electric guitars so there is differnet tones.
I get kind of bored because they will work on the same 10-20 seconds of the song over and over and over.....I get tired of playing the sem 2-4 bars over and over....
however, once it all "comes together" it sounds wonderful!

as for 3 being re-sold...I know one was because the player decided he was not a 5er guy afterall.....sad but true....
Mine will NEVER leave....unless I knew I could get a replacement....and sell mine for more than I would pay for such replacement....

I have both the 2x10 NEO and NEOX-212T. The 212T is a serious gig-worthy rig and less than 60 lbs. I replaced a 4x10 1x15 stack with it and have never looked back. Deep lows, punchy mids, and awesome for slap. The most solidly built cabinet I've seen. The grill never rattles even a touch. Just incredibly solid and punchy. I'm not as big of a fan as the 2x10. The 2x12 at 600w 4ohms has a huge presence and small footprint. I actually can't imagine a gig that it wouldn't be sufficient for. Every bass player who has tried my Shuttle 6.0with NEOX-212T has been amazed by the sound. So, the short answer is get the 2x12 -- it's amazing. Sounds great with both active and passive Laklands.

Yes you may, and congrats! I saw this bass in person at Lakland, even picked it up (so light for a fiver!)--a real beauty, it made me wish I played fives. I have a JO4 w/single-coil Chis in the same finish.
Any one know if the Skyline JO5 would have had essentially the same neck geometry as this 55-07 bass?
I just don't recall the nut being this narrow. Maybe it was. It's been a while.

Neck dimensions should be very very close: Sky 5 vs US 5. I couldn't tell a difference going from 55-94 to Sky JO5 and 55-02. BUT, a Sky DJ5 DOES feel different due to it's smaller specs.
My 55-60 is due to ship this week, so next week (or maybe after the weekend), I'll finally have my 55-60 Trans White
