Bassconbeatx . . . your enthusiasm over your new Skyline 55-60 Custom got to me . . . I just ordered one with case through Ed at Bass Central. It's identical to yours . . . so hopefully, I'll get a LOG# once it arrives and I submit some pics . . .

BTW . . . have any of you swapped out pickguards . . . I can't find anyone lists pickguards for Laklands . . .???

Just received a return email from Jeannies . . . $84 for a pickguard . . . has it been 'that' long since I purchased one???

There's something wrong... the most expensive 55-60 pickguards are $56 (pearl, tortoise, etc), plus $8 shipping, should round up to $64.

I just ordered one yesterday, but for a DJ5, same price. I did however spend over $90 in another pickguard for my 55-02. Pickguard was $74.95, plus no-holes option ($10), plus shipping ($8) = $92.95. But it is awesome.

+1000 on tort! Plus, I love the Stingray shaped guard on the 94/02s.

Thanks to Marcel, I'm now one step closer to the finish line with this recent project...

Now, with BT-1 Drop Tuner. No issues encountered what-so-ever since I opted to only mod the A, D, and G HB-1 mounting plates for use on my Custom LE Maple Lined Fretless neck. This bad boy dropped right in. I did however, swap the tuning post with the one form the HB-1 that I removed to keep the front looking clean and matching the other three tuning posts.
