FWIW, the street price on 44-64s/Glaubs seems to run about 25% off of MSRP. I'd imagine a good dealer could work it down a bit further, too.I was hoping to see a Sadowsky killer, but at the price listed on the site, they're too expensive for what they are. at $4900, I expect a spalted maple top and abalone markers if I want 'em. Bear in mind that the fretboard pictured on the site is an $800 upcharge.
Personally, I think that price is Lākland's weakest point. Which is too bad, because the US basses are bloody exquisite.
Er, it kinda looks like the control knobs are really tightly-spaced, too. Or am I seeing things?
Maybe his couch needs cleaning. So magical...how it sticks to the couch![]()
Awesome, thanks Markus!!
That makes it so much harder to choose...Is Jeannie Pickguards the LOG recommended dealer? Any idea on price? And I am sure I will have to send in my guard to get it done also.

It's less than a day and we're at page 3 and 50+ posts .... something tells me it won't be 2.5 months this time ...Two and a half months!
