1) Be strong. After all, you're the Doude!

2) ??? You're kidding, right?

3) That sweet blue one is still my fave of your axes... for as long as you have it. You change basses like nobody else I know.

1) I will...it is my lot in life!

2) YES kidding!!!

3) thanks man! I love it too....I will keep htis one for a loooong while! I have actually slowed way down....have owned MOST of these for ore than 6 months...most for more than a year ( he he!!)

So lovin' that bass man!

Where's your fretless basses?

thanks!

Needed to keep the number down to make the basses big enough to see....the fretless basses (along with Blue velvet) were janging comfortably on my wall...

Just saw the new 44AJ basses, to replace the Daryl Jones ( which I truly love and the best bass I ever had, along with my Rickenbacker !!! ) I am astonished at these and their designs !!! Wow, these will be a big success !!!!

the AJs are not really replacing the DJs.....they are actually JO bodies....the DJ is now a 44-75....

I was hoping to see a Sadowsky killer, but at the price listed on the site, they're too expensive for what they are. at $4900, I expect a spalted maple top and abalone markers if I want 'em. Bear in mind that the fretboard pictured on the site is an $800 upcharge.

Personally, I think that price is Lākland's weakest point. Which is too bad, because the US basses are bloody exquisite.

Er, it kinda looks like the control knobs are really tightly-spaced, too. Or am I seeing things?

there WILL be Skylines out....probably 2012...save your bucks until then!

The price on the site is suggested retail...dealer pricing usually lower. You really need to contact a dealer to get a quote...I'm sure it will be a bit lower.

yup....probably 20-30% less....

awe man!!! sweet!

And the 55-07. He doesn't have room for all his Lakies in one picture anymore.;)

nope.....do not.....just don;t tell my wife or she will say I can only keep what fits in a picture nicely!

Have you met Terry, Aaron and John?:D

nope...he has not....I am tame compared to them! I even think John J beats me with number of Lakies owned!

The answer to that one is going to have to come from someone in a higher pay bracket...

LOL!!!!

Yes, the white case is what US Laklands ship in.

here is one Gordon.....

Yes...light cream.

and another....I guess You (Gordon) don't make too much (he he!!)

mmm delicious ;)

my new USA 55-69 should be done late february apparently.
there's only 10 of them. several will be tetsuya's and one has matching pink quilted maple pickup covers!

good to know mine will come with the white case!

those are nice!!!! congrats on getting one!

Does anyone know where I can get an old school 'woven' Lakland strap? I used to have one and it magically vanished. I LOVED it and would love to get another one? You older Lakland guys know what I'm talking about right?

Wow! I landed one a few months back - Though it cost me a "steak" lunch for a fellow LOGer... j/k Thanks again, Jeff!

They are hard to find. I believe they were available in both Cream/Tan ends and Black. Keep checking the Accessories Classified Ads here.

Good luck!
