I think your rig is just way too small...seriously not enough cone area and zero power...lame:-)

:D:D:D I usually use a GK700RBII with the Aggie, but every once in a while, I just have to hook em both up. I have a couple of buddies I get together with now and then and we play almost all Doom/Stoner... I have to use both just to be heard over an Orange full stack and a Hiwatt stack. Ridiculous, but fun as hell:cool:

bamabass . . . I guess any of them . . . just a comparison between the maple fretboard and the rosewood fingerboard . . . just trying to get some idea of how they sound/feel, etc before I order one from Bass Central . . .

1)the AJs are not really replacing the DJs.....they are actually JO bodies....the DJ is now a 44-75....

Yeah, I was wondering if those had survived the ownership transition, since I don't remember seeing them on the Lākland site. So they're still available?

Or should I just go look for myself? ;)

there WILL be Skylines out....probably 2012...save your bucks until then!

Nuh-uh. Never buying a Skyline sigh-unseen again. I'll wait until someone else buys one, so I can at least get a report on how good it is... then buy theirs when they move on (hint).

Er, also, 2012 is Sadowsky NYC year for me, so it'll have to be later. But later was supposed to be either MTD or US Lakkie year, so... Ugh, you see how confusing my life is, Doug?

yup....probably 20-30% less....

Yeah, I guess you're right. at 20% less, it's a much more compelling buy. I guess I'm just extrapolating upward because I find most of the Skyines to be a little overpriced.

Ben Kenney's new Lakland,

Short scale (30"), Markus Orange.

Hot.

Love the colour. Don't love even like short scale or the black headstock.

But that knob layout is so win. I love it.
