Not ALL are white/cream... Back in the early days, tan/brown hard cases were used on US models. Now, they have a newer style that is in Black for Skylines...
Then does that mean white cases for current US models?
Yes...light cream.
Didn't get a chance to throw these on last night, but as of friday, I am officially the owner of this Skyline DJ4

LOL! Yeah, I've never heard of that brand before. Is the sound, er, huge?Nice man! And a rig built by John Holmes! Nice!

Seriously, though, that is a sweet, sweet combo on a DJ. Put on a white suit and a white hat and play some Larry Graham.![]()

Be strong. After all, you're the Doude!
??? You're kidding, right?
That sweet blue one is still my fave of your axes... for as long as you have it. You change basses like nobody else I know.
I recently heard somewhere Roger DOES NOT have a template for the LOG/55-64 bass. When I was at Lakland on Friday, someone ordered a LOG bass with a tort guard. I won't say who...
Leo told me they are cutting their own guards. In house.
So I am pretty sure Lakland can cut you a guard for a LOG bass.
I don't know what colors they have. Contact Leo

I'm one of the PITA's with the Tort Guard, I ordered that way early last year, the black just does not work for me with the RW. Did you see it, wondering how it looked? I have seen this combo and it always looked great, I am keeping the original guard as well so if I ever part with it - it can be restored to the original black guard. By the way, it was an additional $75.
Are those 12"..... speakers?![]()
Just an FYI, Lakland has moved to a new supplier for their gig bags. I have both single and double versions of the new ones, and they're great (IMO).And @roadkill2309 I'm actually using the gigbag to house my backup right now, and have moved my DJ into a hard case. Thanks for the warning on the bag though, I'll pick up a new one asap
Yes those are 12's I believe. That's actually a PA system that my grandfather gave to us because it was taking up space in his basement. We've played various guitars and keyboards through it, and yes, it does sound massive. I've never used a bass through it though, I just thought it would make for a neat picture. If I were to guess, it would offer a very, well, meaty tone
