Yep...I agree. If there is something wrong, they will fix it. I an pick up any of my Laklands and they are perfect. Once fixed, you will have an extremely solid performer.

Wow, you've posted about issues with this bass so many times, I'm amazed you are only just now contacting Lakland.
A US body/parts with a Skyline Decade neck.
Love this bass. The brick wall behind it isn't bad either.
The previous owner had it done, but there is a generous shim on the bass side of the neck pocket to plug the gap. It obviously wasn't a perfect swap, but it was god enough.
Because I was a DUMB@SS, thinking that we had competent techs around here! Leo has already responded back to me . . .
Lakland's a fantastic company, but as it consists mainly of people, it's not perfect. They make mistakes (very little though), but if they do, the CS is always excellent. I'm still so happy I got my 55-60 instead of my Fender MIM Jazz V 
It has become my main gigging bass for NONA, which is amazing considering the stuff I have at home

Just had a nice talk with Leo regarding my 55-60 . . . he seemed to be asking about the neck . . . maybe it's somewhat warped? If so, he said he'd replace it. I need the bass this Sat and Sun, so I'll be shipping back to them on Monday. He seems like he is definitely "great to deal with." I'll let you know the results . . .
Awesome! That's why I endorse lakland and have been using their basses for almost 10 years now. Once they get it fixed I think your gonna love it.

Posted this a while back about adding a ramp to my lakland and it seems to have gotten neglected 
So does anyone have any advice regarding making ramps for lakies (material used/dimensions/templates etc.)?

Lakland necks are some of the best (maybe THE BEST - for me anyways....) necks in the world...Keep an eye on the LOG later next week (or so I am told)....
