markus, you know these things I think - is that inca silver? It looks a little too deep compared to the LE skylines they did a couple of years back...?

Looks like the US darker silver bass from what I can tell. Same one here:

NOPE...not inca silver...dark grey (metallic)...and THANKS to Lakland and Darryl you can buy one JUST like it beginning in 2012!!!

I'm picking up a new to me bass in the next month or two . I've had a great 5502 with Barts and a JO5 with Fralins a few years ago , liked both . I'm wondering how the Hanson pickups compare with the Fralins or Areos . I'm mostly looking at the JO5 or maybe a used DJ5 . If the Hansons sound good I might go for a new JO5 . There are a couple of very nice ones in the classifieds now but I won't have the money for a few weeks .

They did the test with a JO5 and the Hansons indeed sound great to me . I think a JO5 may be in my future if I can find one under 10 pounds .

FWIW, I had a DJ5 with the Hanson pups. It was the best J-bass tone I've ever had. Highly recommended.
