NOPE!!! I wanted a picture of your wife!!!!

hmmmm......I guess we need to update the email....sorry about the confusion.....the T-shirts are all gone....new supporting memebrs get a neato polishing cloth AND a really coolio Mousepad (designed by a guy who has a color named after him!!!)

hmmmm, would that be a sparkling color I wonder :D
on a more serious note, thanks to the LOG board! I like all the candies they gave out in the past 3 years. From the great shirts (2 designs) to the strings and pickups to the very touching christmas card (last year?). and more.
I just gave out a like-new LOG T-shirt as a christmas gift to a pal of mine who bought one of my Laklands in the past. But, he is a friend of mine; has a Lakland; is a LOG member; and, I still have 2 more LOG shirts left, BWA HA HAAAAAA!!!

I guess I've been playing Music Man necks for too long as this neck feels really big in my hands. I'm not a small guy either and I don't have a problem playing it but it def. feels more bulky than those slick MM necks. I think the fb radius may be different as well. Hmm...

Yeah, Lakland 5ers are made with the same string spacing (across the board and at the bridge) as a typical 4 string jazz bass. It allows me to go from 5s to 4s and back without any muscle memory issues in either hand. I can't play EBMM 5ers because of their super close spacing.

(Reaches for Lakland in a trance like state)

Sure thing boss. I've gotta admit, some of your Lakland's have given me major GAS!

Yea, that makes sense. My GF bought me a EBMM knock off made by Samick that was a 4 string because it was identical to the bass my friend let me borrow that got me playing bass. I was playing EBMM SR5's at the time and when I took the 4 banger to a gig it took me a good 10 minutes to quit fumbling over the string spacing of the 4. Then when I went back to the 5er it felt somewhat tight.

Guys....update on the black bridge;

I called Jason at Hipshot. It's a no-go on the bridges. Apparently, there was some potential static from Lakland on the previous sales. They are no longer willing to put the Lakland contract at risk by selling the bridges to consumers. You have to go through Lakland. FWIW, Hipshot said the bridges are a baked teflon coat. I found a powder coating shop here in DFW that will teflon coat my bridge hardware for $60. So if your gonna DIY, it's a baked teflon coat.

UPS just "drop"ped off my 2nd Lakland... (see this thread for that story... )

A MIK 55-02 Fretless!

Anyhoo... Thought you guys should be made aware of this blessed event...

... I still don't want a number though. :ninja:

nope......see my post above....sorry for the confusion...if you want a Lakland T-shirt contact [email protected] (like I just did).....these are LAKLND Tshirts NOT LOG shirts they are selling....

I tried contacting Leo and JP about both this and another matter and I have not heard back. If you hear from him about these shirts and there are some available can you shoot me a PM so I can find a way to get one? Thanks!
