Hey did you ever roll that cool stealthy black skyline ya had listed on here? That looked awesome...black bridge and all.
Actually ended up keeping it and glad I did. RumbleBeeAL got the black bridge though. Funny thing is, I don't miss the black bridge as I found that it altered the tone too much for my taste, my guess is that it was the paint/coating on the saddles. Made it more mellow and less aggressive.

Yeah I have, haven't joined up yet on account of not actually having the bass.. just.. yet.. dammit.. but I will do.. and then order a laky gig bag, and get a d-tuner sorted, and it's a shame lakland don't offer t-shirts for sale.. or do they?

I think a Tshirt that simply says LAKLAND in good size letters across the front would be cool..maybe a lil catch phrase under the logo? I dunno? I would drop $20 or so one one...Black with white letters please

Ok, so I got mton's 3tb hollowbody last week, and already I'm gassing for a new PG for it... Thanks to markus, I can order one from Leo BUT... What color? Pearl white to match the trc, tort to match ALL of my other PG's, or black? Suggestions?

Just got my second lakland, a black skyline 55-01 (used).
serial #04021403. I'm floored, at under 600 bucks with case this is the best bass per dollar i've owned in 30+ years of playing. The 35" scale doesn't bother me at all, I actually picked this up to rehabilitate my left hand which changed drastically after some therapy- need to get the stretch between middle and ring finger back. Total monster tone, it's like a piano.
I'm seriously impressed!

That's the trouble, not sure exactly what I want at this point - although I'm almost 100% sure it will be a fretless Lakland.
Here's a couple of mockups I threw together this evening. I'm going back in forth in my head between a 4-Chi or a PJ with Delano large pole pickups.
Could use some input regarding the configuration, perhaps an impromptu LOG poll. And yes it will be all black

My vote for this stealth bad boy.......go with the Chi's loaded in...Would say Dark Stars first choice...but so hard to come by I heard.
Either would really showcase the pups with the rest being all stealthed out. If ya wanted to be really freaky ya could always have the chrome mount frames black matte powder coated or somethin?
