Thanks, but I do have to give Dan credit for part of it, it was his pointers that helped me figure out how to get the lighting right.
It would go well with the rest of the bunch.

You should really consider picking up a black and maple bass for your stable...

You know, a high contrast black and white would look cool - off to Photoshop I go!
Here's some inspiration from my family. Since skylines come black, and fretless have the ebony FB, you can get close...then:
- Add a black PG (or remove it and put black diamonds in the screw holes.
- Match the headstock (the "stock" stock is maple, as on most skylines)
- Add black tapewounds (this pic was before I put them on this bass)
- And of course...NO LINES! I am not sure that's a Skyline option.
It would go well with the rest of the bunch.

OMG those look amazing!.. esp that black maple 44-94!mannn now I'm having serious thoughts to getting my flame 44-94CS refinished.. maybe a silverburst with the flame showing through? or a brown burst ala rickenbacker 'montezuma brown'.. of course I could always irish it up with a greenburst.. I think the lakland shape pretty much works no matter what colour option.
