on my way!!!! we are having Chili as well...BUT no Dark Hinneys and not YOUR chili!

Kinda bummed...my daughter is going home with a friend after school and will be Trick-r-Treating with her.....oh well...guess I will just have to hand out candy this year...

only issue is I wont get as much candy myself....


oh well...I guess I can go out tomorrow and buy it cheap!

I boycotted having candy in the house this year. After word getting out to the first group tonight that I was handing out apples and oranges, I had no more trick or treaters to come by. Too bad for them - I have lots of leftovers. YUM!!

This is the one night of the year I wish we didn't live in an apartment building with a doorman. Very few trick-or-treaters expected, I think we had six last year. (And yes, there is such a thing as too much leftover candy.)

hmmm...end of the world....only a month and a half off....party like it it 2012!

We wound up with 13 kids last night. My fiancee had put together 16 gift bags with candy and stickers and such, so it worked out just about right.

we had over 75 - how many more i cannot say as we strted out giving 2 pieces of candy and then went to one and then back up to 2 (as the crowds changed)

sounds like your bags were much better "takes" for the kids!

back on subject...had to give up playing a Lakie last night to give out candy BUt will play one tonight (Worship Band practice....but will be late...teachers conferences tonight. )

you can take on the world!!! and play fo your food....but wait...no electricity! oh well....use it to hit people over the head and take their food....

My son said the Mayans did not have leap year so the world shold have "ended" many years ago....we are safe (well...as far as I KNOW...and I HAVE been known to be wrong...

on a very few occasions....)
