Because I work in tv, I did in fact meet both Marlin and Jim when they came to the NBC station where I work, to do some things in association with the University of Missouri vet school.

Now that is all kinds of awesome, have some old photos myself of me and the misses feeding giraffes. Just sat there and they came up behind us and pushed their massive heads in front of us and started eating out of our hands. Could have sworn they were wearing Lakland t-shirts as well
Yeah...if you aren't going to use them...it would be killer over a floor lamp fashioned into a lamp shade....you could look at all the photos, when the light is on.

80's and 90's models were the best, they're all too skinny now - bring back curves like a lovely 44-94 or HB - baby got back!

yeah...but thinking no actual lamp shade. Just piece them together on a frame. High end boutiques look out!

How about I dig up like 2000 or so slides from model shoots back in the day and fly out to cali and you can show me the design idea.
We can make up a "model" (prototype) lamp shade...( pardon the pun ) while knocking back some Newcastle ales...
Staying on topic...This plot will allow me and Markus to add more new US Lakland additions to our line up.
