Mai-Tai with just a hint of Copper - Two very unique US Lakland Basses getting to know one another...

I typically tend to go through each bass I have with a fine tooth comb and clean them up to Factory New Condition. I'll have my work cut out for me on this one off Copper 44-94 as it is already Uber-Clean and looks to have come direct from Lakland TLC shop - there's literally nothing to do or polish.

I have a few things up my sleeve and already in the works.

Yep same here...never owned a 5 banger...played a few cheapies at GC here and there over time....just never caught on to it...maybe one day I will buy one and give my hands and brain more time for adjustment...lol

After the last 5-String (55-94D CherryBurst/BEM & old school Barts) passing through my hands, I'd have to agree with you.

The 4-String neck width simply feels right to me.

Ok, well....ummmm.......
I WAS going to hold off till it arrived to share.
But I just paid it off and it ships out on Monday.
So since it IS now paid for it IS mine
So I cannot hold off till it arrives Thursday or Friday to post pics.

This is my first brandy new US Lakland purchase.
Kinda bet is will not be my last
I have had my eye on this beauty for over a year now.
I LOVELOVELOVE me some Buckeye Burl!
And had been drooling over the pics monthly on BC.

I finally decided enough was enough!
So to preserve my sanity and mental state I listed and sold two of my basses and added a bit O cash.
The result will most likely end up being my favorite bass of all time I am guessing.
Hope these 44-94's are all they are cracked up to be
