I have a hard time putting down my new acquisition, the 44-64 Custom ( Duck Dunn ) Bass !!!
I also went out and tried a few Fender Precision American, just to compare.... I went back to my Lakland in a hurry !!! The neck, the neck and again ,the neck !!!! The Hanson pickups really 'smoked' !!! Tone is much deeper and with more focus on the Lakland !

Pulled the Skyline DJ4 out of the case last evening after at least 3 weeks of playing my more accessible basses. She was perfectly in tune! Very nice to play with flats. Gotta love it.
Yep! Just 3 more to go!
But, until then...it's time to head to FedEx

Yessir! And then today's bass lesson featured the CAR Duck Dunn and the Inca Silver JO4 with Chi-Sonics. Wow. Quite the duo. Also stayed in tune, within 5 cents. Sounded good even with me playing!
