First ordered or first owned?
Ordered a DJ 4 and an amber 5502 deluxe ( first one EVER ordered) within a couple of weeks of each other.....had to convince Dan to do the amber!
About 2 weeks later ( give or take) I bought a GREAT 2002 skyline Glaub from MrPacker Guy ....drove to Madison one Friday evening to pick it up....
The rest is history....

my order is officially in for my shortie! I mean, I had that neck, but I decided on a body so I didn't have sad bodiless necks laying around. So, it'll be as if I ordered an entire bass. My first! Yay!
The Colorado Club held a TB GTG at Premier Bass Guitars today... WoodyG3 snuck this pic of me with my 06/11 55 AJ with Aguilar OBP-3 Pre as I was checking out the Gruv Gear Fret Wraps...
I've gotta get some of the wraps! I like to get show-boat-ish and play one handed (all hammer-ons) and those would come in handy. It's all in fun, for the crowd and to taunt other band members.

The fretwraps are fancy scrunchies that some use to dampen sympathetic vibrations and help mute open strings.... I don't know if it works or not, but at least I look like one of the cool kids with it on there...

well...My pocket book was lighter and my wife was a bit unhappy - but it all worked out in the end!
Tooth back??? No thanks! it was a wisdom tooth....I "had" to go to the dentist and doctor for "permission" to get the bass...I actually have a good amount of follow up to do...dental-wise BUT that is pretty expensive....more so than 2 new US Lakies if I do it all.
