hey guys do you know if there are any 44-94 basses with single coil chi sonics?

I'd love to see them

I have a JO with CHI singles and LOVE it!

I believe that's the 44-07 (and 55-07) - there are a mere handful floating around.

The 44-07s and 55-07s have humbuckers. They have a single coil mode, but don't have the lows, and mid texture in single coil mode, the straight singles have.

I'm trying to join the club. Like a fool I've already passed on a couple of good opportunities. I pretty much need a Skyline Glaub to pop up (price and I prefer 1.75 nut). Seems like I would prefer a maple fingerboard and colors of black, white(or blond), sunburst or natural.

which is not a color I prefer (although gorgeous). Also not sure how you guys feel his adding of the J bass pickup affects the value.

if you get this one LEAVE IT AS IS!!!! it is a rare bird....LPB on Glaubs was only available for 1 or 2 years.

this is a hot bass and should meet your needs....

Carl Pedigo needs some good thoughts and prayers.....he is not feeling well. sounds like a flu or something like it....I talked to him today and he sounded awful.

he hopes to be back in the saddle in a few days....

Basslines SJ5 in the neck and a Nordstrand MM5.4 in the bridge.

It kills through the Bassman! But everything does. That rig is a homerun by Fender.

Anyone have any advice on finding a stacked VT/VT plate for a Skyline JO? Checked with Leo, but apparently they won't sell one unless it's on a US model (or I'm not as cool as I used to be, lol). Does a standard Fender one work?

Thanks! As I was looking at it last night I really feel like it needs a matching headstock. Anyone had just a head stock finished on a Lakland? Is it possible to color match if done that way?
