I find myself favoring my TH500 with my passive Lakies, 44-64 and 44-60. It's a very vintage sound, warm, punchy and full.

The Streamliner brings something especially mystical my 55-01 and 55-02. The sound almost envelopes you. Very beautiful.

Don't get me wrong, I love my rigs. I just feel like I need a 10" speaker at times.

Actually the only thing that bugs me about my rig is that I bought White Hot. Which I like because it stands out. But I find myself at times wishing that I would have got the classic black. But it looks killer with my Trans White 44-60, very 70's. Almost like Liberace is stalking it mark it with vomit.

I'm gonna be "that guy" and say that speaker size and tone are not necessarily related. If it's more lower-mid and "mid-mid" punch that you want, an Aggie DB410 (which I used to own) or an NV610 (which I own now) will surely get you that, but so will a Bag End S-15.:) If you're more interested in increased upper mid content, cabs with dedicated mid drivers like the Baer ML112 or the Berg NV115 seem to deliver plenty of that. (I've briefly auditioned the Berg, only read about the Baer.)

But I'll join the chorus and say your current setup sounds pretty great, and those White Hot cabs look fantastic!

I just like to have tonal options. I don't really care what size speakers are in a cab as much as I care for the sound quality. I like to have options.

Hey man, I'm taking Vicodin like it's Pez, I had surgery on my right shoulder and left ankle this past thursday. I have to go back to the office tomorrow. I'm not responsible for any options that I may have optioned during the optioning period when I speak of gear at this point.

And sadly, I REALLY wanna go jam. Damn drugs!

You always have the option to not take the drugs. I mean, I know there are side effects, but it's an option. Then you could discuss your options about gear without worrying about the option to take the drugs which cloud your mind. Unless of course you consider the option of taking the drugs to ease the pain rushing to your newly unclouded mind. Well, at least you'll have options...

Very true, but I believe in better living through chemistry? But it is an option...:D

I HATE Lakland!!!!! After getting a Hobo 34, I was so floored that I had to obtain it's little 30" cousin. I just cant afford this GAS, Lakland!!!

The little 30" can growl with the best of them too. No fair!!!
I hate Lakland :)

There is definitely something special about the tone of a 55-94/02 through a Streamliner. Its very 3D to me. The Neo 212s sound great.

So... been on the prowl for a new JO in a unique color and literally every one I see for sale new or used has a maple board. It makes my crazy, anyone know whats up with that? Don't get me wrong, I like a maple boarded J bass, but not something that is supposed to be an improved 1960 Jazz.

TeX... I have what I call the "perfect convert able rig"... and it is light (important for an old guy like me)

GB shuttle 12 6.0 for practice and small rooms ( soon to be Fender Shuttle? Gawd help us!)

If I need something bigger I add a DNA cab with 2 10s.. as you probably know that doubles the wattage of the amp....and the cabinet is so efficient that it dies not need a lot of volume!

I had it outdoors this weekend and had the amp barely at noon ..plenty of room to go!
