Unfortunately (for me) this bass only has 20 frets. Why do they do that?
You can't play the whole octave above the 12th fret.
The 55-AJ below has 22 frets. That works.
Is the Fender Bass style 20 fret fingerboard just a salute to Leo Fender?
I use the 21st and 22nd fret frequently, especially on the G string. I would really miss not having them there.

I guess its a good thing it's not yours then, otherwise you'd be disappointed.

Definitely digging the look of the contrast between the 3TSB finish, black pg & maple board.

Just got it in today. Love it!! Clear, piano-like tones.. Tight, focused B. 9.5lbs

I bet lakland would make you a 35" 4 string if you want :)

that will get you the extra frets....

or you need to start playing 5 string Lakies! :)

Awesome bass! Did it come from the factory with the PJ setup? I'm trying to get one just like that but with an extra string :hiding:

I was going to ask why the pickup had been moved so far forward and then I realized that this is a 35 scale bass... interesting.

Damn kids! Episodes 1-3 are hogwash.

They will never truly be Star Wars! Episodes 4-6 are the real Star Wars!

Sci-Fi fan or not, you have to watch 4-6. They teach about believing in yourself and the greater good.

Turn in your Laklands, y'all make me wanna vomit!

Whatever, I never said I didn't see them, just that I don't care. They also came out when I was like 2 years old. My dad was a high school classmate of George Lucas's so I certainly saw them, just don't really remember. I also saw the new ones which made my contempt for the series even stronger.
