Thanks Doude!

I scored the US Scheff from some funky character I met in a seedy dive bar in lower Chicago one dark rainy day.
Do not remember much about the guy, cept his odd taste in frumpy shorts and he kept mentioning the need for an extra string?

Hey man, THANK YOU for selling her to me...she is a keeper! IMO :bassist:

Sounds like a funky dude.....:)

....anything for you Dan!

The deal was good for me as well....kept me looking for my fiver Scheff

Hello Lakland fanatics,
been wanting to own a Lakland for a few years and I think I might make the plunge next year for my 30th b-day. What I want is a Lefty P/J 44-64 black/rosewood/tort, like my '99 fender HRP. One thing that I'm curious about is the placement on the bridge pickup. on most of the ones I've seen, they have the jazz butted up close to the pickguard, then while searching the net, I found this P/J 44-64 with the jazz moved back towards the bridge. That is the placement I'd want on my 44-64. Now my question is, can Lakland do this? or are they pretty much deadset on their specs? Thanks in advance.

anybody?:hiding:

oh hey.... ya know, i still can't believe lakland has hardly advertised the Decade VI (otherwise lovingly known as the slick6)... i'll be sure to bring mine to their booth at NAMM if any of you guys are there and wanna check 'er out. meanwhile, i'll keep making vid-yos with her...

I'd love to sit down with one at some point. Dunno if I could keep myself from breaking into Witchita Lineman, though...

Okay, so I know a lot of people are looking forward to the Geezer model, but what I'd really like is a Skyline PJ with the 44-64 Custom neck. In Markus Orange. Delivered to my door. Tomorrow. Before my gig.

;)
