She purchased it from someone on Reverb who had bought it used in California. This bass is absolutely beautiful. The painting on this is professionally done -- it is NOT stickers.
I'm looking to find out if anyone knows the history on this bass. I know this may be a long shot but it is worth a shot.

Just picked my new 55-02 Deluxe Natural - excellent all around, missed that nice wider flat neck form factor of the 55s 
great action, feel and sound, fit and finish A+. This is my second 55-02 deluxe which I hesitantly sold to a gigging friend in need coming out of the pandemic, and the quality remains the same. A familiar looking quilted natural top for many, but new to me and I really like it.
