A couple of days ago I purchased this one direct from Lakland. One piece bound super light weight Ash body. Crazy flamed roasted neck and Birdseye roasted fingerboard. Weighs less than 8 lbs. I’m delighted. I borrowed these photos from the Lakland site. These are such great basses with wonderful necks.

I love your 55-07 as well. Time to see a pic of it as well.

That bass has a very unique voice, as I have heard via vids of Ed Friedland playing one. Love that tone!

obviously my 5501 is 35" scale. No issues whatsoever. I really like the feel of a 35". However, I can't deal with anything under 34" (short scales). They just drive me nuts
