It's a very lengthy process that includes a significant background check but someone should be along soon with the appropriate forms to get the process started. Personally, I am always wary of a group that would have me as a member... Good luck with the vetting.

Does anyone know why Lakland doesn't make USA Classic 55-60s, or why production of Skyline 55-60s is so low? I've been desperately wanting one (in lake placid blue), but those appear as new stock so rarely. Even Sweetwater has discontinued the product pages for all 55-60s.

I'd even be willing to buy a USA Classic 55-60... but they don't make one! I'm just curious if anyone has any insight on why there's low production/limited options around that particular model, whether import or USA-made.

I want to stick with Lakland for my first 5-string passive J, but they aren't making it easy! Thanks in advance for any knowledge you all have. Cheers!

AHHHH thank you for this pic!! Looks awesome!

I bought a 2008 55-94 just before Christmas with a dinged up burgundy mist body I'll be sending in for a Tahitian coral refinish soon, and had the idea rattling around of doing the lollipop replacement thing but couldn't find a 5-string example. I'm in thanks again!

Your headstock has the 3/8" machines right? That'd be the same as mine. Unless you're speaking to the look of the lollipops on a bass with the 55-94 body shape… which we'll find out how that looks in a bit haha

Love my 5560. Would love to see more. Especially a Skyline in fiesta red and rosewood

Pardon my ignorance but wouldn't a Skyline DJ5 be a close replacement option? Outside what may be a very slight difference in neck profile, body size and control plate they're hard to tell the difference. And the DJ5 is readily available in LPB.
