This has been a "work in process" for over a year...had to get it into Carl's Que!
Its a Fretless
Neck Pickup is a vintage and the bridge pickup is a NeoPunch!
Carl says the bridge pickup is nice and "burpy" and the 2 styles play well together!!!!
It is strung with flats (brand TBD as Carl is trying to find the best strings for the sound profile - He's thinking TIs)
I cannot wait to play it!
But that will not be until Friday the 14th as I have several things going on.

The stripe is some left over waterfall Bubinga from the Bubinga Brothers!!!
I was kinda going "restomod"....wanting the look of a 60's or 70's P bass that someone bought...stripped the paint off of and defretted.
...and of course "Leland Sklar'd" it by adding a second P pickup! Carl thought it would sound better without reversing the P at the bridge...so he didn't do that and I always TRUST his decisions!
There is no finish except for a bit of oil.
The fret markers are even figured! I cannot get a picture of those yet - but will!
Enjoy!
