if they were originally glued in, do you reglue or just press it in and let the screws hold it in place?

I would just let the screws hold them in place. IMO, glue is/was never necessary in terms of function.
No Lakland content, but last weekend my wife and I had an early Valentine's Day getaway.
We went to the Arcada Theatre in St.Charles IL (some of you Chicago dudes may know it, but if you don't you should check it out!) to see a James Brown tribute band and The Family Stone (3 founding members of Sly & the Family Stone, but no Sly
).
It was an absolute blast. With some liquid inspiration, I think I convinced myself that it was the real JB!
The Family Stone put on an amazing show too!
Coincidentally, the band was staying at the same hotel. Ended up closing the bar with Jerry Martini (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame sax player and one of the founding members of Sly & the Family Stone) and Alex Davis, a monster drummer, keys player, and singer who fills the role of Sly.

Always GREAT to get to spend some time with the band guys! Did you recognize them or did you "find out" by talking to them?
One of my most fun evenings in college was going out with the (then) bass player and (then) drummer from Spyro Gyra....I worked "security" when they were on campus for a concert.
Many of the guys in Spyro are vegan and/or did not drink but Kim Stone (bassist) and the drummer did....it was really cool going out with them and talking music. One of the best parts was KNOWING THAT you were with someone pretty famous but no-one recognized them....a night I will always remember....
That and a night of beverages (with a larger group of workers) with Robert Guillaume (aka Benson etc.)...cool guy....just happened to run into him where we were shooting pool.

I have done this. No drilling. Let Hipshot know you need the 1/2" washers/bolts for a Hipshot Lisenced size hole.

I saw Larry Graham with Graham Central Station in November at City Winery. He looks and sounds great, it was a fantastic show.
Oh yeah, I knew exactly who they were. I don't think anyone else in the whole place did, though.
We got stuck in a circular back and forth of gushing back and forth over who appreciate who more. I guess we collectively appreciated the adult beverages most!
Yep, you got it. Would've been even better if Larry Graham was sitting at the bar with us, but that's a fantasy for sure!

I noticed on the Lakland website some Skylines are listed as having "Hipshot Ultralites" while others have "Hipshot Lisc. Ultralites".
Does this mean some Skylines do indeed have USA Hipshot Ultralites on them?
For example Lakland 44-64 custom and DJ4 models say it has "Hipshot Ultralites" while the standard 44-64 and DJ5 says "Hipshot Lisc. Ultralites".

I have to think the first one is just missing the "licensed" moniker. I can't imagine there being any difference in Skyline models.

Several weeks ago I replaced the stock pickups in my Skyline 55-60 with a set of EMG J5s. This past weekend I got to use it in a recording session. Man, this thing sounds killer now! So happy I decided to go forward with the mods. It was a harder rock type song and I ended up using the 55-60 through a Carvin BX250. Had the "drive" on about 6, DI level to 4, Compressor to 5, Contour set slightly to "scooped". At the same time I had the neck pickup full on with the bridge at about 30% and the tone control rolled off about a quarter. Nice, throaty, gritty recording tone. Perfect for the song I was tracking.

The wife just took the kiddos for a mid-week visit to grandma. When the Family is away, the Dad will play...loudly
